There is a bit of news that will affect UBO's leadership (but not the league or your games) for week 3 and a bit of week 2. I've been asked to go on a business trip to China, which may lead into me living there and working in the fall. Since it hasn't been super formalalized with work but has been potentially coming, the dates have been last minute, and I will be leaving this Friday. I have appointed Maria head admin while i'm away, and have full confidence in her decision making and ability to see out the last week - particularly since Maria's used good judgement for each previous season reffing and also because she's been involved in league decision-making this season and know what's going on.

There shouldn't be any major problems that come of this and it won't really affect you, since stealing and alternate map requirements will not apply to Week 3. To make things more simple though, I have asked all GMs to CONCLUDE all steals by Thursday @ 3AM EST (bids up until 3AM Wednesday) so that I can make sure there are no problems with teams before I go - after that everything is all automated with 1 adjustment from Maria, so I know that there shouldn't be any major issues that crop up while i'm away.

Ideally i'd be here for the last week but i'm confident that this shouldn't impact the league (although i do feel bad for my team!). Thanks for your understanding!
