mmk dont really know where im going with this.... but i hear alot of talk about people enjoying dmr. I have been around for 2 years and for whatever reason have only been able to partcipate in a handful of races non of them competitive. Well heres my point: racing is dead and i think i can get it going again. Im just going to run a dumb league and see how it goes. It will be straight forward.

ok this is my understanding of a death match race:
person in last place leaves the game and gets marked as 17th place
the race is held again and the person in last gets marked 16th place...
so on and so forth
stats are kept in the form of what place you get marked down as

so for scoring i figured... instead of making it that you need 17ppl you can play with however many you want
example:
a 7ppl race is held....

1st- 0/7 points (1st place always gets 0 points)
2nd- 2/7
3rd- 3/7
4th- 4/7
5th- 5/7
6th- 6/7
7th- 7/7

so basically your score is your place divided by the total # of people

if you win all of your races you will have a score of 0 if you lose all your races you will have a score of 1....

every time you race your 'place' and the '# of ppl in the race" gets added to your existing stats.

for example:
if you race in a 16 person race and you get 8th

8th- 8\16= .5 (you would have a .5 score)

then after this race you dueled someone then...you won

1st- 0\2 = 0 (0 points for first)

then your total score is now:

8\18= .444 (a .056666 increase becuase you won the duel )


other than that im not really sure.... alright im going to go make a channel and stuff

you cant have a 17th place. you can make the race for 16 people (you as obs) if you dont plan on racing and reffing. but there can only be 16 places in the race.

i could race with however many people i want

not if you want a fair/fun league

ill judge it once i see the site and coding which i will compare to the leagues in uniball already

We had some successful racing last night with a 12 player race and then following that a 16 player race both on Phar Racing. We ended the night with a 12 player race on jamez' racing map, Force.
