I don't think you can compare results like 8th out of 8 to 15th out of 16 and say they are equal. You either need to do all 16 player races, all 8 player races, or set up multiple leader boards. One each for the number of players in the race and maybe one more with an average (either with your scoring system or without it). In order to show all of this information, I feel it would be necessary to have a website (even the most basic of one).

I'd love to be racing again, but I think if you plan on reviving it, you should do it right.

RACE LEAGUE

WELCOME TO RACE LEAGUE

************
REGISTRATION
************

-To register simply type !register in RACE channel. A ref will need to approve you. However if you are already registered in HOCK League you will not need an IP check.

-Only Registered Names allowed to participate

-To Join a game simply join a game a ref has hosted with a registered name! Refs will report the race results manually in the RACE channel.

*****
RULES
*****

-Currently all races will be 4,8,12 or 16 players.

-Refs will decide rules before each race. Refs cannot race.

-The standard race type is a 1 lapper. However refs may choose to do any race style they want including Pheonix, 2 Lappers, Marathons and Immunity.

-The standard race map is Phar Racing. However all race maps are supported.

-Refs will randomize teams before game. If you are caught changing teams you will be banned and last-placed.

-Spamming will Result in a boot / ban. Even if you are an observer.

-Racers gone afk may be booted by a ref.

-Do not stop racing for any reason. If you lose the race kindly leave the map or go observer.

-You may REQUEST a '30' sec time out before the race starts.

-Do Not 'Line'. Once you touch the finish line with your ship you are no longer in 'play' You must leave the play at your full momentum and may not hit any other racers. If you want to block do not touch the finish line. Refs make all final decisions, players are discouraged from making calls or arguing because it can interrupt game play. (refs may boot you)

-If a player leaves during a race he is in last place for that round.

-Do not be a jerk.
