I don't know of any hockey leagues going, so I made one. Since I couldn't come up with my own league idea, I decided to copy and combine the best two that ever existed. (Well, I had a league idea, but it wouldn't have lasted. Maybe add it on later for funsies since I was pretty much done with it). ANYWAY!

I present you, Hock League. You can play games by drafting (!east, !uk, !mw, !west), by calcing (!calc mop mop2 mop3 mop4 mop5), or by randoming (!random mop mop2 mop3 mop4 mop5). As of today, 9/23, I haven't set up randoming, but it's in the near future. I would do set teams too, but Ladder has been so active that it wouldn't make sense.

All you have to do is /w mbot !register and wait for a ref (me) to approve. (mbot is my python powered bot with the help of Wookie's dll)

Speaking of refs, I need some volunteers. Post here if you have suggestions for the league and also post here if you want to be a ref. I'm going to start off with people I know are active and have done it before (or aren't retarded).

NOTE: If something goes wrong, complain like normal. No extra complaining because I'm mop. It's beta, so expect bugs. Though, anything you can do now should be bug free since I've been testing all day and night.


Some rules and other such things:
1) My ruling is final (unless I undo my first ruling and put in place a second ruling. In which case the second ruling is then the new final ruling)
2) Currently only supports uk and east servers for now (will definitely add mw and west later).
3) For now, if east goes down, !east drafts can be played on mw. If east and mw are down, move to west.
4) Beta season is underway 9/22 and ends 10/24 (Sunday 11:59 central). That is, unless some unfortunate event happens.

If you feel inclined not to put anything after [hock] that's fine. But if someone complains they thought it was a random game when you intended it to be a calc, and the game name doesn't specify, I might have to slap you around.
6) To join a calc game just sit in the lobby till full. You people know how it works. I've designed it to be intuitive based on what UGN/MnM did before.
7) OH AND! Everything will carry over if the bot disconnects or just stops working. The only thing that doesn't work if the bot encounters an error, is a draft. Games will still be reportable upon the bot's return and such.

Added !drafteast and !draftuk (on two separate 10 second timers to help prevent a little spam right now since it displays drafts in the channel and not in whisper)

If the bot doesn't reply to your whisper, it is down (unless you whisper with something other than !register).

I want to be a ref. I have experience in DMR, Survivor, and UPL (or was it UCL?).
