making 'teaming' against the rules is stupid and pointless.

not only does it suck all the fun out of racing, but it's impossible to regulate fairly and every ref will have a different idea of who is teaming and who isn't - and that's if you put bias aside.

if any ref tries to argue that one of my blocks is 'teaming' then i can just as easily argue why it isn't.

Let's just ban blocking altogether?...
If you try to remove what you consider to be "teaming" (which is practically impossible, by the way) then you've pretty much lost the essence of why people love racing in the first place.

It's pointless talking about it since it cannot be enforced. I will say certainly not all people love racing because of teaming, I've seen plenty of players talk against it. I don't like it either, even tho i have like 5 people helping me in most races. It makes the league aspect almost irrelevant, and it's particularly annoying to new players who are usually on the receiving end of teaming. But again, pointless convo.

The second biggest contributor to racing becoming boring to me was teaming, although not getting blocked by a group of people but actually getting helped by them or having the responsibility to help out others; I didn't like the fact that in every race there were ~4 people on my "team" that I felt obliged to help which gave us an "unfair" advantage. Personally I liked it better when I was unknown and had no one to help / maybe one incompetent brazilian/euro and the field was more even (perhaps uneven from my point of view). I just think both extremes (geting lots of help contra getting teamed by literally everyone) make racing less exciting and would love for races to be anonymous, even if you'd have to remove our ability to chat.

[/rant]I'm aware of being in the minority here. ()()()()()()()()()()()

I've been supporting an idea like that for a long time. Or even number the ships so afterwards it can tell you who was who.

2=Jabus
3=mop
etc...

Anonymous racers definitely sounds like a brilliant idea.

I stopped playing on east because every race was the same story, but now I see that they do the same on UK as well, so I'm out. Enjoy "racing"

Anonymous racing is the way to go, too many ass lickers on the game. They just group up on the end of the race to block whoever they don't see as part of the group. This is way beyond helping the players from your team, it's more like making this or that guy lose in that lap.

This.

Ive seen examples of this in every race i join to play or watch. Ill give you an example of it:

In the last one i can remember, mp3 and hellcat were in the same team. It was looking really bad for them since red team was dominating (was on pak's map btw). hellcat was in last place during the whole lap and was about to lose the game followed by -mp3-. At the final line, one of those red dominant guys decided to change the fate of the lap and [Admin Edit: Language] up -mp3- so he would lose instead and hellcat could survive for one more lap. For everyone's surprise, hellcat just stopped and didnt want to cross that line, letting -mp3- go in his place. In that same instant the random dude just said: "this was the last time i helped you hellcat". hellcat ignored the random dude and left the game while -mp3- was destined to lose the next lap due to red team being the strongest.

We saw some random dude making races pointless with teaming with other colours, and hellcat the guy that was decent enough to see that the situation was unfair and acted like a man.

Down with biased race games and bring justice to everyone with the anonymous races.
